Aultmore 18 year old is takes the foundation style of gentle grass and orchard fruit but the extra time in cask develops hints of banana, spiced pear and lovely sweetness. This is still a gentle whisky but rewards the connoisseur with plenty of flavour to explore.
Tasting Note:
Elegant and uncomplicated, grassy and herbal – with notes of rosemary and thyme. Smooth and rounded – heady with notes of apples, pears, and bananas. Sweet with a hint of spice and a long, rewarding finish.
