From Eigashima (White Oak) distillery in Japan’s Hyogo Prefectures comes this lightly peated single malt Japanese whisky. This expression of Akashi matured in bourbon casks for five years, this single malt was matured in bourbon barrel #101486. Bottled at 50%. (Bottle size 500ml)
Nose: Sweet vanilla and caramel, with biscuit notes.
Palate: Poached orchard fruits, woody spices, and distant bonfire smoke.
Finish: Drizzles of salted caramel, black pepper, and lingering smoke.
