Kilbeggan Single Grain Whiskey

A tasty Single Grain whiskey from Irish brand Kilbeggan, produced at the Cooley distillery. This whiskey was first released in 2017. This whiskey is made using a mashbill of 94% corn and 6% malted barley. The spirit is then aged in a mixture of former Bourbon and ?different fortified wine? casks. The result is a dram which is approachable and sweet, with something a little like a Bourbon character. Kilbeggan Single Grain offers flavours of biscuit, nuts, vanilla, oak, corn, toffee, dried fruit and spice. Perfect for use in cocktails, but just complex enough to sip, this is a well-made Irish dram.
